What

Hinj is organized around the idea of dematerialization and performance optimization through the research and development of compliant mechanisms.  A compliant mechanism is a mechanical structure or device that achieves motion or force transmission through the deformation of its flexible components, rather than traditional rigid joints and connections. Compliant mechanisms are designed to bend, twist, or flex to perform a specific task or function, without the need for traditional hinges, screws, linkages, or bearings.
